Individual Stage 43 tickets can be purchased online, in person or over the phone through the Evergreen Cultural Centre box office, 1205 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam. 604-927-6555. In addition to will call, you now have the option to have your tickets emailed to you. Then, you can either present them on your phone or print them out for scanning when you arrive for the show.

Based on the life of John Merrick, who was the victim of rare skin and bone diseases. A star freak attraction in traveling sideshows, he is found by celebrated young physician Frederick Treves and is admitted to London’s prestigious Whitechapel Hospital. Under the care of Treves, Merrick is introduced to London society and slowly evolves from an object of pity to an urbane and witty favorite of the aristocracy and literati, only to be denied his ultimate dream – to become a man like any other.
