Stage 43 Theatrical Society
Social Event and Annual General Meeting

Tuesday, November 4

Stage 43 is planning a social gathering to catch up with all our theatre friends! We never seem to have enough time to just hang out. Our social evening will consist of a potluck, a chance to chat, maybe some improv games, and the election of the 2025-2026 board. Don't let the term AGM scare you. No one will pressure you to join the board of Stage 43, though you are welcome to put your name forward if you would like to join the team. We just want to see you! Please join us as we reflect on the past year and celebrate Stage 43 turning 43!

Memberships

$20 Adults
$16 Seniors (65+) / Students
$30 Family (2 adults or 1 adult/1 youth)

Our members come from a number of backgrounds, have different interests and experience levels, and hold a variety of “day jobs”, but all of us have a passion for live theatre. By joining us, you can also #BePartOfTheMagic.

Stage 43 members in good standing will have voting privileges at the meeting, including for Board appointments. If you were a member this past year, now is the time to renew, as all memberships expire in October.

To renew your membership, or to sign up as a new member, you can send a cheque payable to Stage 43 Theatrical Society to: Box 247 34A-2755 Lougheed Highway, Port Coquitlam, BC, V3B 5Y9, or through PayPal - Stage 43 Theatrical Society. Please include the name and address of all the people the membership applies to. You can also send us an email at info@stage43.org for instructions on sending an e-transfer - please make the subject of your email “STAGE 43 MEMBERSHIPS”.

Board Nominations

At the AGM, we will be voting on our Board Members for the 2025-2026 season. You may put your name forward if you like, no pressure!

This is a volunteer-based working Board whose members pitch in where needed on productions and other tasks, and holds approximately one meeting each month (virtual) - usually in the evening or on a weekend.

Stage 43 encourages people from diverse backgrounds to consider running for our Board, as we believe that different voices will lend further strength to our organization. We would also appreciate anyone with specialty skills and experience in fields such as marketing, accounting, etc. to express their interest, as there is more to managing a non-profit theatre organization than mounting the productions. No theatre experience is required.

If you do not want to join the Board itself, but still want to be involved, please let us know! We’re always looking for people to help us on productions, with marketing, with construction, and many more tasks throughout the year!
