Claire Pinkett, S43 President , Show Producer, Set Designer, Social Media, etc, etc.
Claire has been on the Board of Directors of Stage 43 for more than 20 years. She is passionate about keeping community theatre in the community and making it accessible for all. She is a producer, a stage manager, a set builder/painter, a set dec artist, a props mistress, an actress, and anything else a production requires. She is most likely to be seen in the lobby, greeting patrons or selling 50/50 tickets, or onstage before the show telling everyone to turn off their mobile devices…lol!
Tiffany Markwart, Director
Tiffany has recently directed Calendar Girls and Opening Night with Stage 43. She has previously directed with The Canadian Children’s Theatre Company in Toronto as well as writing and directing Echo and For the Love of God (Theatre Elysium), and assistant directing Vinci (Vagabond Players). Tiffany was last seen at Stage 43 as Connie in The Ladies Foursome, Madeline in Men are Dogs and Norma-Jean in Mamma Won't Fly. Tiffany is a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan honours program with a BFA in Drama and was the recipient of the Naomi Ruth Arps Scholarship.

Wilson Fowlie as Mr. Woods, Admissions #1, and Musical Director
In 2018, after seventeen years of directing a show choir, Wilson retired to pursue other performance opportunities. Since then, he’s acted and sung in productions all over the Lower Mainland, including: A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play (PoMo Players); Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (CTORA); LOVE: A Tribute to Andrew Lloyd Webber, War of the Worlds: The Panic Broadcast, and It's a Wonderful Life (IOCO Players); and Out of this World (Applause!). He's excited to return to the world of music direction and to work with friends new and old (Hi, Marley!) with Stage 43!
Taylor Winters-Sproule, Choreographer
Taylor is delighted to be choreographing Legally Blonde: The Musical. She has worked in musical theatre both onstage and behind the scenes, and this production marks her first time choreographing a musical. Taylor has also choreographed for dance teams and competition teams across a variety of styles, and would like to thank this wonderful cast for bringing the energy, enthusiasm, and perfectly timed snaps to every rehearsal. Outside of rehearsals, she is training to be an English teacher and can usually be found petting every dog she encounters.
Kelvin Bear, Projection Design
With a background in multimedia production, Kelvin was honoured to join the amazing and talented crew of Stage 43 in 2021. He has been the sound designer and sound engineer for every season up until his departure from the Lower Mainland in 2024, including Skin Flick, Footloose, Calendar Girls, God of Carnage, and School for Scandal. Kelvin is also credited with projection design for all of the latter productions, and is thrilled to be asked once again to provide visuals for Legally Blonde.
Joy-Ann Lee, Costume Design
Joy-Ann joined in 2004 and soon became the Costume Mistress for Stage 43, designing, making, and selecting costumes for actors to wear while performing, ensuring they capture the required effect for their roles. Costumes are an integral aspect of stage production, which helps producers and actors to tell their stories. Joy-Ann has worked on more than 33 productions, including our current production, and past productions of The Father, Opening Night, Footloose, M*A*S*H, The Elephant Man, and many more. “I have enjoyed these many years with Stage 43 and have met so many talented actors and crew and am privileged to have the trust of the group when it comes to costuming the actors.”
LEGALLY BLONDE CAST:
*Amanda Spinosa as Elle Woods
(*appearing by permission of Canadian Actors' Equity Association)
Snaps! Amanda is beyond ecstatic to bring one of her dream roles, Elle Woods, to life. After graduating from CapU’s Musical Theatre Program, she took a hiatus to pursue film/TV. She recently returned to the stage as Emily in Bound! The Musical: In Concert (Bound MT Society & Metro Theatre), and also worked on her very first pantomime, The Little Mermaid (RCTC). A heartfelt thank you to her family, friends, and especially her partner, Brendan, and puppy, Benji, for their endless support. Enjoy the show! ... What? Like it's hard? IG @amandaspinosaa
Robbie Carley as Warner Huntington III
Robbie is thrilled to be returning to the stage after more than 10 years. In that time he became an 3D Animator and has been telling stories 24 frames a second on popular children's programs like Sonic Prime, Ninjago and Fireman Sam. But you know what's even better than dumb cartoons? Musicals! Enjoy the show.
Donovan Wood as Emmett Forest
Donovan is thrilled to be making his Stage 43 debut with Legally Blonde! New to musical theatre, Donovan has spent the past year and a half taking baby steps into the genre. Previous musical exploits include Vagabond Players' tick, tick... BOOM!, and playing guitar on his living room floor. He would like to thank his parents for flying out from Toronto to support him; as well as his new theatre friends and old theatre roomies, without whom he could not have imagined doing any of this.
Saige Woolley as Paulette Buonofuonte
Saige is thrilled to be joining Stage 43's cast of Legally Blonde as Paulette. A graduate of Capilano University's musical theatre program in 2013, Saige now works professionally as a teacher, and performs whenever time permits. Ryan Erwin as Professor Callahan
Ryan makes his Stage 43 debut as the intimidating—and occasionally ethically flexible—lawyer and law professor Callahan. A real-life lawyer, Ryan draws on both his law school trauma and courtroom misadventures to bring suspiciously convincing authenticity to the role. This is his sixth musical, though his most recent non-musical appearances were in Farce of Nature with the North Vancouver Community Players, and Diamond Girls and The Maltese Reindeer with Deep Cove Stage Society. When not onstage, Ryan moonlights as a pro-wrestling referee at shows around Vancouver, proving he’s comfortable laying down the law in multiple venues.
Tori Kazemir as Serena
Tori is thrilled to be a part of her first production with Stage 43! Some of her favorite past shows include Sister Act (TIC), The Addams Family (FVMT), LOVE (Ioco Players theatre), and White Christmas (TIC). This is Tori’s second time being in a production of Legally Blonde - the performances of her first production were sadly cancelled due to COVID, so she is especially grateful for a second chance to be a part of this vibrant show! She has thoroughly enjoyed working with such a talented cast and production team, and hopes you enjoy the show!

Oh my god, oh my god you guys! Abrielle is excited to be playing Margot in what is one of her dream shows Legally Blonde! 🩷 Abrielle is a professional actor with Secret City Adventures, playing Susan in The Perfect Bite (sponsored by Netflix) and Monica in The Wedding Party. He's made old men cry as WWI vet Duncan Cameron in The Last Real Summer (Emerald Pig), performed the Complete Works of William Shakespeare in 95 minutes (Pivot Theatre, it was abridged), was the worst feminist in history as Joe Cooper in The Tomorrow Box (Emerald Pig), clerked for the world's most oblivious barrister in Witness for the Prosecution (TIC), and learned to sink quickly as Adrian in The Tempest (Emerald Pig). Stage 43 would like to express sincere thanks to the following:
The staff and volunteers of the Evergreen Cultural Centre for their support of community theatre and always making it a fun place to play.
Krista Pavane and the technical operations staff of the Evergreen Cultural Centre for their technical expertise and mentorship.
Emily Bayrock of the Evergreen Cultural Centre for assistance in promotion.
Valley Driving School and September Stokes for use of space.
Tip Top (Langley) for assistance with props.
Dave’s Custom Metal Work for assistance with prop modification.
Royal Canadian Theatre Company for loan of the rolling door.
And, of course, YOU - our patrons - for your kind support of community theatre!
We are also thankful for our volunteers who spend countless hours creating and rehearsing the magic of live theatre. Did you know that it takes about ten weeks to put a show like this together? Apart from the three rehearsals a week for actors, hours of design and execution go into the set, the costumes, the soundscape and the lighting, and then there are the hours of promotion, marketing and content creation. It is a truly and labour of love. Some of the greatest friendships you can make happen in community theatre. If you are looking for a new hobby, check out our Volunteer Page for more information on how to get involved.
